Tidy provides a default “Standard” PO that is generated internally and is not built using the customisable MS Word template function. If you’d like to customise your PO layout, including adding the SKU field, you can use the custom document template feature.
To do this, download the “example starter” template from the right-hand side of the Templates page. This template is a great starting point if you want something like the Standard PO layout.
You can then edit this file in a program that supports saving in .docx format (such as MS Word) and modify the layout to suit your needs. For example, you can add a new column to the item table for {{SKU}} or replace an existing field (like Code) if it’s not meaningful to your supplier.
Note: The keyword {{SKU}} pulls the SKU value from the item details. A full list of available keywords is provided here:

Additional Tip: If you're using the SKU as a supplier product ID, Tidy recommends recording this in the item reference field. You can then configure the PO line description style to include this information automatically.
The line style is selected under GlobalSettings->Company->Sales&Purchases(tab) and has the following options
Once set, the description field of new PO lines will adopt this information, and it will flow through to the Description of the line item.
