How do I set up Tracking Categories in Xero?

To create Tracking Categories in Xero:

  1. Log in to Xero
  2. Go to Accounting > Advanced > Tracking Categories
  3. Click ‘Add Tracking Category’
  4. Enter a name (e.g., ‘Sales Rep’ or ‘Freight Option’)
  5. Add category options (e.g., different sales reps or freight types)
  6. Save changes

Once created, these tracking categories can be selected manually in transactions.
