Why aren’t Tracking Categories automatically applied in TidyStock?

  • Xero allows businesses to assign tracking categories to customers, but these do not automatically transfer to TidyStock.
  • In TidyStock, tracking categories must be manually selected when creating a new Sales Order or Purchase Order.
  • If tracking categories do not appear, ensure that:
    • The categories are set up in Xero.
    • The Sales Index List is enabled in TidyStock settings.
    • Tracking categories are manually selected per transaction.

🚀 Workaround: You can use the Special Instructions field in the customer profile to store tracking details as a reference.
