No — there is currently no inventory or materials flow from Xero into TidyStock. The only information synced from Xero to TidyStock is a PDF copy of invoices, which appears alongside sales records.

To get started with TidyStock, you will need to import your materials manually.

We recommend the following setup process:

1. Complete a stock take in Xero to ensure your quantities and stock-on-hand values are accurate.

2. Export your inventory items from Xero. (Refer here)

3. Ensure the existing Inventory account (630) has a nil balance.

4. Create a new Inventory (Stock on Hand) account for TidyStock to map to.

5. Download and complete the Materials CSV Import Template to import your materials into TidyStock. (Guide on How To Do A Bulk Import Of Materials)

Please note:

• Not all columns in the import template are required. Expanding the column headers will show which fields are mandatory.

• We recommend importing all items as Unmanaged initially, as items cannot be changed from Managed → Unmanaged after import. (Difference between Unmanaged and Managed Items)

• Items can, however, be bulk updated from Unmanaged → Managed later if required. (Guide on How to Bulk Update Unmanaged Items to Managed)
