If the Resource Scheduling feature is enabled for your organisation, Project Managers will be able to write future booked time against resources, and will be able to see the allocations when adding time entries. This time will be visible to your Time Writers when they add time entries.

Schedule summary
Go to Schedule Summary under Projects to view the booked time for all your resources. You can use the Department filter to display a subset of your organisation. Click the arrow icon beside the user name to see which projects they are allocated to.
Under-allocated days show in light blue, correctly allocated days in dark blue, and over-allocated days in purple:
Step 2.
Schedule by Resource
Go to Projects, click the project you want to allocate resource to. Click the Schedule icon in project view mode.
Step 3.
In the Schedule by task screen, drag the Time Writers name to the task and date you want.
Hover your mouse over the left or right edge of the Time Writers name in the calendar to extend the duration.
Step 4.
Click the Time Writers name in the calendar to edit the booked time for this task.
Step 5.
Right click the Time Writers name to delete the booked time.
Step 6.
If the time is over-allocated, you can see a purple underline below Time Writers name.
If the scheduled date is after the end date of the associated task, you can see a red dashed underline below Time Writers name.
Click the edit icon beside the task to edit the time within this task. You can click the Match icon to replace the Plan time with the total hours of Entered and Scheduled time to set the balance to zero.
Step 7.
Go to Schedule by Resource under Projects to view the schedule by Time Writer.
You can drag the task and project to the calendar against a Time Writer.
Drag the left or right edge of the task in the calendar to adjust the duration.
Click the task in the calendar to edit the task or right click the task to delete it.
