How to view a quote

This guide explains how to view all the details of a quote.

Step 1.

Go to Quotes> quotes to view, edit, clone, or delete the quote. If you want to see a filtered view, click the Settings icon or Advanced icon and customise your filter.

Step 2.

Hover your mouse over the binoculars icon to show the quote description.

Click the icon to view the quote. Click the More details to view more details of this quote.

Step 3.

Quotes have possible 5 statues:

  • Draft (quotes still being edited)
  • Pending (quotes awaiting a response from a client)
  • Rejected (for rejected quotes)
  • Expired (expiry date has been reached)
  • Won (accepted)

Step 4.

Only draft quotes can be edited. You can change the status by clicking the three orange dots.

Click the edit icon to edit this page.

Click the print icon to print this quote console screen.

Click Generate quote icon to generate the quote, you can either download or email directly to the customer from within Tidy.

Step 5.

Tidy includes three predefined templates. You can also upload custom document templates in GLOBAL SETTINGS > Templates.

Documents can be downloaded in PDF or MS Word format. If you download them in Word format you can open them in Word to make changes to the presentation before sending to your customer. Emailed documents are only in PDF format.

Step 6.

Click the Expand all button to view all the sections in this quote.

Milestones is where you can view milestones for this quote.

Tasks shows the tasks set for the quote.

If Documents is enabled, documents which have been added to the Dropbox folder linked to this Quote will be listed here.

Step 7.

Click More details to see detailed financial information.

Step 8.

Opportunity allows you to view and edit the likelihood of winning the quote, and the stage the quote is currently in.

Step 9.

Notes show a list of notes for internal use about the Quote. Notes can be filtered using the controls at the top. New notes can be added and existing notes can be edited.
