This guide explains how to approve an invoice for a treatment plan. You can set up your TidyClinic so that treatment plans are automatically approved once saved, or you can manually approve each treatment plan.

Step 1.
Go to Search patient.
Select the patient you want to create a treatment plan for.
Step 2.
You will then be taken to their patient EMR page.
Step 3.
Go to the invoices tab and click the binoculars icon on the invoice you want to approve.
Step 4.
This will take you to view the invoice for the treatment plan.
Click Approve. A message will appear at the top of the screen confirming the approval, click Yes.
Step 5.
You will then receive a Success message at the top of the screen.
Once an invoice has been approved you will be able to make a credit note and make a payment.
Step 6.
Under the invoice tab, the invoice status will now be Approved.
Automatically approve treatment plans
Go to Settings> Financial.
In the Customer invoicing tab you can enable auto-approval by ticking auto approve customer invoices. Then click Save.
Now when you charge a procedure, the invoice will automatically be approved.
