How to create an appointment

This guide explains how to create an appointment in TidyClinic. There are three different ways you can create an appointment.

Option 1

Step 1.

Go to Calendar.

Under the actions section, create an appointment by clicking the plus icon.

Step 2.

This will open a pop up box where you can search and select the patient that you want to create an appointment for.

Step 3.

After you have selected an existing patient or created a new patient, you will see a message saying to choose a time for the appointment.

Step 4.

Drag your cursor over a time on the desired date on the calendar to select the time.

Step 5.

This will open a side bar where you can select the appointment category and add any notes.

Click Save once complete.

Step 6.

Note: If you attempt to schedule an appointment before the current date and time, a warning message will appear at the top of the side panel.

Step 7.

You can now see the created appointment on the calendar.

The colour of the appointment will be the colour of the appointment category you set up.

Option 2

Step 1.

Go to the calendar tab, and drag on the calendar to create an appointment.

Step 2.

This will open a side panel.

From here, you can choose to schedule an appointment for a patient or create a busy block.

Step 3.

Click Save once complete.

Step 4.

You can now see the created appointment on the calendar.

Option 3

Step 1.

Go to Search patient.

Select the patient you want to create an appointment for.

Step 2.

You will then be taken to their patient EMR page.

At the top right of the page, click the calendar icon.

Step 3.

This will take you to the calendar page where you can create an appointment.

You will be asked to select a time for the selected patient.

Step 4.

Drag your cursor over a time on the desired date on the calendar to select the time.

Step 5.

This will open a side bar where you can select the appointment category and add any notes.

Click Save once complete.

Step 6.

You can now see the created appointment on the calendar.
