How to send appointment reminders with Patient Self-Confirmation

This guide explains how patient’s can automatically confirm appointments by replying to SMS messages.

Step 1.

Go to the Calendar tab.

Select a time on the calendar to create an appointment for.

Step 2.

This will open a side panel where you can enter the details for the

appointment.

Once complete, click Save.

Step 3.

Once the appointment has been created, you can create a Scheduled appointment reminder.

You can use an SMS template, or structure your own message.

If you already have scheduled reminders set up, a message will be sent automatically.

Once you have entered the details of the reminder, click Save and schedule.

Step 4.

Once the SMS has been sent, the patient can reply to the message.

If a patient replies with Yes or Y, it will automatically confirm the appointment.

Step 5.

A blue tick will appear next to the appointment once it has been confirmed.

Step 6.

You can view all SMS replies under the Incoming SMS tab.
