Set up batches
When batch functionality is enabled for a material Item, you can make the assignment of a batch number mandatory for a range of workflow options. Please contact support to turn on the batch function.
Set up actions on behalf of users
When using Tidy Enterprise, it is sometimes useful to assume the identity of another Team Member. It can be useful if you wish to see what Tidy Enterprise looks like to that user, or you wish to perform an activity on their behalf.

Set up customer portal
The Customer Portal is a web application that provides a platform in which your customers can view the details of projects where they are the customer. Only charge information will show up and they will not be able to edit any details. Visibility of each project can also be set on an individual project basis.
Set up Xero customers

Set up material categories
Define material categories as the first step before adding material items or assemblies. The material category marked as the default will be used when materials are created 'on-the-fly', unless specifically changed.

Set up your activities

Set up departments
At least one company department is required. Add departments, e.g. Administration, Sales and Warehouse to suit your company. Once added, departments are available via a drop-down list when adding or editing users.
